Our celebration will include performances by our chorus and band, a presentation by PHS Air Force JROTC, student presentations, and an opportunity to recognize our honored veterans.

Riverside Middle School's 2026-27 Girls Basketball Team tryouts will be held after school on November 4th-6th in the Riverside gym.

Riverside Middle School's 2026-27 Boys Basketball Team tryouts will be held after school on November 3rd-5th in the Riverside gym.

For forms and more information, please contact Coach Brown or Coach Durham.

Riverside Middle School's 2026-27 6th-8th Grade Archery Team tryouts will be held on Thursday, October 29, at the Pendleton Elementary School gym (902 East Queen Street, Pendleton SC) from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Drop-off and pick-up at the front parking lot of the school.

Riverside will field one team of 24 students. The top performers at tryouts for each grade level will be selected: 8 eighth-graders, 8 seventh-graders, and 8 sixth-graders. Students will compete against archers in their own grade level for a spot on the team.

If your student-athlete is selected, the first practice will be November 10 from 3:45pm to 5:00pm, followed by a parent meeting at 5:30pm. Normal practices will be at Riverside on most Tuesdays, approximately 3:45pm to 5:00pm. Our archery season runs from approximately November 10, 2026 through the State Tournament in early 2027.

These young Bulldogs are invited to play in the 2026 Middle School All-Star Game on November 22 at South Pointe High School. Way to go, guys!!!

We didn't get the volleyball season or 8th Grade Night that we wanted this year. But make no mistake... the Riverside faculty, staff, parents, grandparents, families, and friends are way more than proud of this group of young student-athletes! We wish them all the best in their final middle school year, high school, and beyond!

In Mr. Sheskey’s 7th grade Fundamentals of Computing class, students learned the procedures for safely flying drones from takeoff to landing! Mr. Sheskey even demonstrated the process by flying a drone around the room, giving students a firsthand look at the skills they are learning!
