CONGRATULATIONS to Riverside's Phoenix Smith, one of Anderson School District Four's 2026 Cory White Diversity Award Winners! The Anderson County Human Relations Council (HRC) established the Cory White Diversity Award to honor Mr. White’s memory and recognize young people within the community who share the values of love, acceptance, and strong character.

Area schools are invited to nominate students who make a positive impact on peers, teachers, and/or school staff in the areas of human rights, special needs and disabilities, and/or cultural inclusion and acceptance.

Riverside is proud to announce Devin Brown as our new Head Boys' Basketball Coach. Coach Brown comes to us from assisting in the program last year, and we are looking forward to watching what he will accomplish with our Bulldogs!

Riverside Athletics is thrilled to announce our next head football coach, John Ammons. Coach Ammons is a Riverside and Pendleton High Alumni who has been successful as an assistant on our staff for the last four years. We are excited about the future of our football program! Go Bulldogs!

Bentley Leopard represents baseball; Coach Leopard recognizes him for his leadership, pitching, and being a force in the middle of the batting order.
Delaney Strasser represents softball, recognized by Coach Simmons for being supportive of her teammates, committed, and a special presence in the circle, with 35 strikeouts in 25 innings pitched.

This week, we're also celebrating Mr. Brady during National Assistant Principal week! What does an assistant principal do? A LOT!!! And we thank Mr. Brady for doing it all and making it fun!

Riverside Football weightlifting for rising 7th and 8th graders will be on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at PHS for the remainder of the spring!
