Today, in Mrs. McDowell's career classes and Mrs. New's AVID classes, Mr. Norman Mark St. Laurent, Federal Product Marketing Manager Security for Cisco, talked to the students about Encryption, Cryptanalysis, Steganography, and Security Computer Defenses. Before Cisco, Mr. St. Laurent has had a career in engineering and cybersecurity with the Pentagon, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), National Security Agency (NSA), and the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) National Insider Threat Task Force (NITTF).

Music is alive and well in Anderson 4! Ms. Ramos and Mrs. Williams enjoyed dinner with all four ASD4 elementary music teachers at the SCMEA music conference tonight. The elementary teachers play an important role in establishing a love for music that is then grown more and more in our students by our RMS music teachers! Thankful for this awesome pipeline and relationship!

Walhalla High School hosted a 2025 Archery State Qualifier on February 1st. The RMS Archery Team finished in 1st Place in IBO 3D and 2nd Place in Bullseye. Kylie Williams finished in 2nd Place for middle school girls in both 3D and Bullseye. Alivia Rexroth finished 3rd place for middle school girls in Bullseye. State Archery Tournament for middle schools will be held on February 27th in Columbia, SC

8th Grade Night is tonight as the Bulldogs host Powdersville. Come support our 8th graders as they are recognized for their hard work! Go Dogs!

He shared that he prioritized his education and even turned down two recruitment offers because he knew he couldn't play baseball forever.

These five Riverside Singers and Mrs. Williams spent their weekend at Francis Marion University's Performing Arts Center singing with the other top middle school singers in the state at the SCACDA Middle School Honor Choir. Madelyn Root and Sylvia Terry sang in the SSA choir while Bentley Brewer, Brayden Finley, and Travis Perry sang in the SATB choir. They represented Riverside unbelievably well! Congratulations!
